In this study, the steel AISI 304L, a standard austenitic stainless steel, was chosen. One industrial filler metal BNi-5a® (Ni19Cr7.5Si1.5B, wt%) and two different rapidly solidified filler metal foils based on NiCrSiB system were produced to investigate the influence of the chromium and molybdenum content on the corrosion resistance.
